Blake was very fortunate not to get called for a blatant checking from behind penalty just before they got the penalty shot opportunity

From my vantage point the Benilde player turned at the last moment to avoid the check. He didn't avoid the check, and hence it was on the numbers. It definitely did not look like a Bear intentionally blasting a red jersey from behind.

Agree it was probably a deserving of a penalty but not a major penalty for checking from behind. The refs let a handful of things go especially 3rd period and overtime. Benilde should have got at least a minor for rough if not check from behind for that hit after the final regulation buzzer. At least they were consistent...

Tickets will be on sale at Aldrich from 1-5pm today and starting at 1pm on Friday as well. White Bear Lake North campus will also be selling tickets for the public today from 8am-10am and 3:30pm-6pm

Don't know about that, but he loved going to good hockey (and baseball) games! Wes was the man!
