Nice win for Hutch, as River Lakes can be a tough matchup even for teams who see them regularly.

So Sect. 3A season is pretty much over and they seed tomorrow. So how do all you prognosticators see things shaking out?

Mostly agree. You could make an argument to switch LDC & New Ulm at 2/3 and Redwood/Fairmont at 9/10.

What's the argument for switching LDC and New Ulm? LDC has 2 section losses, both to Hutch, and has beat New Ulm. So how could New Ulm jump Litch? I agree, could make argument for Fairmont over RWV since Fairmont has more recent win.

I don't think it will happen (LDC/NU switch). The only rationale would be margin of losses between the two teams against Mound and Hutch. The head to head result does favor LDC. Not sure how LDC's record resonates amongst the coaches voting, even though they have a significantly more difficult schedule.

I watched the DC/Worthington game tonight. The Lamb kid is really really good. DC is decent but without Lamb the outcome is up in the air.

FWIW, it is nice to see Worthington get a top 8 seed, it is a town that with just a little success I could see hockey growing quickly. They’ll have have to get non traditional hockey families involved, but I think with just a little success they can.

Yes, Worthington has improved the past two seasons. With those "non-traditional hockey families", they put out one of the better soccer teams every year.

Is it Worthington getting better? Maybe some of the teams are going in the wrong direction? Most of the teams in D4 don’t carry A teams at the youth level and if they do they are very weak. New Ulm’s Bantam B’s beat Worthington’s top team.
