The stretch run schedule is rough, but that should wrap up the #3 seed in 2A

BSM steamrolls STMA tonight 7-2The Red Knights looked good. The semifinals for 6AA (at BIG) will be legendary this year. Any of 5 teams could advance to AA State.

Tonight was the first time I had seen Benilde play since Early December. They are much improved. They had three lines firing on all cylinders and their 4th line gave them a few quality minutes as well. They were aggressive and physical on the forecheck. They have a mobile d-core that moved the puck very well. This feels like the Benilde team we expected when they were ranked #2 to start the year.

So much talent on Benilde, but one guy who seems to fly under the radar is #6 Tristan Sarsland. He always seems to make the right decision with the puck and plays with just the right amount of edge.

Luc Laylin had a beauty of a goal for STMA on an individual effort. The Laylin-Laylin-Flammang line really came to life after Flammang's misconduct. Their other lines didn't provide much help.
