Losses to Mahtomedi, Orono, LF, Delano, and AA Chamlin Park.
I appreciate the kind words, and I’m sure I can speak on Elliott’s behalf and say that he does as well. The weekly write ups and keeping track of scores can be tedious at times, but I try to have fun with it. Elliott has been very supportive since we started this little tag team venture last year. I know this thread doesn’t typically get the level of engagement that the AA rankings do, so hearing feedback is encouraging.

Section 6A
St. Cloud Cathedral (2)
Alexandria (10)
Little Falls (7)
River Lakes

This is typically one of the most hotly contested sections, but looks like Cathedral's to lose at this point. The Crusaders will face off against Alex and Little Falls over the next few weeks, so we will see if those teams can pose any threat. Alex defeated Little Falls early in the season, and is undefeated so far in section play. River Lakes just knocked off LF, but also has a bad loss to Morris/Benson. I kept LF out of the dreaded four seed for now, but they are on thin ice.
Man, still no love for Morris/Benson?

If they would at least play somebody! But they did beat the best team on their schedule. That schedule will not do them favors come seeding time even if they do run the table (which they probably will do).

My remarks are somewhat "tongue in cheek". If you look at Kittson Central's schedule up to this point, they really haven't played anyone either, but they are getting mentioned in 8A conversations. Morris/Benson has a QRF of 15 right now, while Kittson Central is at 18. And the Storm have rattled off 12 straight wins, so there is that.

I know you two are mostly just joking around, but 8A is a barren wasteland after the top three. Kittson has wins over most everyone else in the section (Detroit Lakes, Red Lake Falls, Bagley, and Park Rapids), so the Bearcats pretty much are the only viable option at #4.

And I did at least give Morris/Benson a shout out in my ranking notes two weeks ago!

Jsyk

Monti is up 3-0 in second, and when you see the stat sheet NB scorer hits the shot button 3 times every time turek touches a puck...almost embarrassed

Shots 33 Monti,, maybe 22
Shots 10 NB

Hard fought game, melee at the finish. Final Monti 3-1 over NB. Coral tossed at the finish. General puck control and shots leaning Monticello way.

Well so much for Morris-Benson running the table.

Yep, I just saw that. The kiss of death, I guess.

But they are still number 4 in Section 6A according to QRF and 18th over all....

Do you know if Croal received a game misconduct? If so, he would be out for the Gentry game. It was just listed as a 10 minute misconduct on the Hub, and I am not sure how to interpret that.

I was told, balance of that game plus 2. Kinda would have liked him to help challenge Gentry. I don't think they have a chance without him.
