AA Consolation: Duluth East vs Lakeville South

Post by That guy for that thing »

I have my hounds if they can start passing the puck around better like they were in sections? Ricky Lyle is rendered useless if he doesnt get any passes. If that doesnt happen, Lakeville South will beat East again. 2012 rematch or a make up for their missed game earlier this year?

I wonder if the TRIA rink Minnesota Wild practice arena would be a better venue for the consolation games?

That would definitely be interesting, and I think it would be a fun atmosphere. I'm curious how long the contract is for with Mariucci.

If we are going to kick the wild out of their home games might as well just kick them out of everything.

East up 2-0 in the 1st. Anderson and Donovan (pp) with the goals.

That PP goal was so smooth again. Lyle sliding it back door to Donovan just like the section final. The penalty was soft, it was a bad judgment call by the ref imo.

A good ending to the season for an East that provides some, well, consolation after Thursday's loss. Would've loved to see this group get a crack at Edina, but you gotta finish when it matters. Thanks to the seniors for their contributions...I'll be along with a longer post there in time. Never any shame in coming back from the Tourney with two wins.
