Pretty good when they play 5 on 5. Solid road win over a good team.
They have settled on a goalie and a lineup, made adjustments to their PK, and you have to remember they really weren't able to get any momentum with the top line for a while due to injuries. They should coast through the rest of their schedule now which includes mostly home games. The outdoor game at home vs Holy Family and a home game with Moorhead will be battles. They have a road game against Duluth Marshall on Tuesday.
Agreed.

3-2 over EGF
They played with intensity the whole game.

Backup goalie did an okay job.

A little scuffling at the end but the refs stepped in and kept it to a minimum.

Team defense was very good.

Scuffling just like last year.
Sometimes I think this is a pretty intense rivalry.
I listened on the Bun.
Sounded like it would have been a great game to be at.
Did you walk over?
What is a Green Wave anyway?

Not as bad as last year. Refs stepped in pretty quick and players realized that losing the next game was not worth the effort.

Through youth hockey years this is the most intense rivalry (and Roseau)for Bemidji anyway. Obviously Moorhead at the high school level.

Sorry about that. Not sure who did the game but sometimes they can be brutal to listen to.

Nice size crowd a lot of enthusiasm, lots of EGF people. Very fun.

Did you walk over?
Not through the 8 inches of snow (and the freeway in between).
By the time I found a place to park I could have walked over.

Seems like the HMB crowd of 2500-3000 must have been the biggest of season so far at any venue?

I'm hearing it was 3,000. Iron Range hockey...it's fantastic! :)

Sats, your data on the natural hatty is inaccurate. The PA was nipping at the juice a little too much before the game. Max Johnson had the first and third goals from nice passes from Henry and Henry had the second goal.

Thanks. And I'm sure neither cares who got the credit.
