Sure, here's an update: for the first time since 2008, all eight top seeds won their first-round games. A lot of people predicted that, so after two days, 24 out of 52 people still have perfect brackets. (What a difference a year makes; last year, there were zero perfect brackets at this point.) The big points are today and tomorrow, though, and there's a lot of disagreement on three of the four semis today, so the herd should be thinned pretty well by the end of the day. And since the first round games are worth less, those of you who have dropped a point or two may still be in it.

Update through the Class A 3rd place game:

We have one perfect bracket left. MNHockeyFan, last year's champion, has all 19 points.

BodyShots is in second with 17 points, though he's lost his AA champion, which could be a problem.

hipcheck72 is one of two people tied for 3rd with 16 points, and has a very real shot at the top. krs703 is in third with 16 points, but with the same three picks in the three remaining games as MNHockeyFan, cannot win.

We have four people tied for fifth with 15 points: dueling21, thestickler07, bardown27, and bender0905. Bardown is in the best shape of those, with all three picks in the last three games still standing.

Ogie (14 points) has the best score of anyone who picked Hermantown in the Class A title game, but with both picks in the last two games out of the running, I don't think he can steal the title, even with a Hawks win.

Good luck to everyone in the last few games...

With one game to go, BodyShots is the leader in the clubhouse with 25 points, but he can't win. It's down to two people with 24 points: MNHockeyFan and hipcheck62. If Hill wins, the title is MNHockeyFan's for a second year in a row; if it's Edina, hipcheck takes home the crown.

2nd place goes to green4 with 27 points.
