Is there anything that will give Lourdes a chance to end their first-round losing streak?

If they find a way, don't let White Bear Lake in on the secret. :-$

Pulling for the north on this, Predicting 5-2 Hermantown,..

But to be honest, after watching East all year, they ( hermantown ) doesn't seem to be on the same level, almost like watching JV to me.. not dogging them, but have they played any Elite top teams this year? Yea they played top 10 teams, but after seeing how Breck and STA played today, the perfect season might not happen

Washed up....FYI... Funk and Samulson are both juniors. New prague had a fantastic goalie and that is what Lourdes is lacking to pull off an upset.

I will say Lourdes is well coached and runs there systems very well especially the top two lines. I think Lourdes will get a few turnovers tonight and of course they would need to convert on all of those to have a chance. Lourdes also plays very well along the boards and cycles the puck well. With the new check from behind penalty rules anythis is possible but I dont see a miracle tonight.

I have seen East go a few times too this year and I don't think that they (Hermantown) are a JV team. I would like to see the two of them play as I think that last year and this year Hermantown could win. It would be a great game.

This whole A is the JV league and AA is the big boy league stuff is pretty lame for the most part. How is having a league made up of teams who come from small towns the JV league? I think that it is more work to put together a decent team from those small towns than it is to put together a team from some place that has more kids trying out for high school hockey than the small town has in it's entire association from top to bottom. The A privates are sort of a joke since they have the same luxury as the AA boys do from the stand point of having an almost unlimited number of kids to pick from to fill holes in their roster. Tough coaching and work to look at 75+ kids and pick the top 15 to take for your big boy team. Try taking less than 30 kids and coaching them into a decent team................

Plante will have them ready after the last 2 dissapointing endings at the X. Jared Thomas is a stud and this group competes. Hard. Breck and STA both looked really sharp today and I think all 3 of them have a chance to win. STA and Breck should be an absolute slugfest.

It is. Its kinda pointless to have it for that purpose.

I think Mr. Wright's voice makes up for "that" look.
