Whew. A lot closer than I expected. Oh well, a win is a win. 3-0 in 7AA. This game should lock up a home game in round 1 for Rapids. <p></p><i></i>

rapids dodged a bullet. bad mistake by brainerd when they were making a wholesale line change as rapids controlled the puck resulting in rapid's 3rd goal. empty netter iced it for the thunderhawks.<br><br>great game. brainerd outshoots rapids by one.<br><br>lots of crows in crow wing county for the krankster and the bluesman. should be able to pick a few off feasting on roadkill.<br><br>watch out for bird flu though.<br><br><!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :b --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":b"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> my lips are sealed. <p></p><i></i>

Great Game Warriors……………..<br>Tonight was a win for the team. They played an excellent game and were poised for a win. Grand Rapids got a break with around 4 minutes to go when a puck fell in their favor with a man coming off the bench, it was a break away and they scored. We were tied at 2 –2 so that put them up 3 –2. They also picked up and empty netter but who cares about that. <br>The first period was a little slow for Brainerd and so we were on the bottom 1 –0 at the end of one. The Second period we came out like gang busters and showed Grand Rapids how to play hockey. We dominated the 2nd period and it was quite a show. 1-1 after two.<br>The 3rd period was actually more Brainerd than Grand Rapids as well. However Rapids got a power play goal and went ahead. Than Brainerd came back with there own power play goal and tied the game . It was Brainerd with the momentum and then like I said earlier Rapids caught the break. And scored on a breakaway. <br>Nick Wichello had a great game in the net. He stymied Rapids on many attempts. He had close to 20 saves tonight. He stopped some great shots by Rapids. And all in all was very impressive. <br>There is no doubt in my mind that Rapids new they were in a Hockey game.<br>I will update stats and that when I get them. <br> <p></p><i></i>

pretty cockeyed there Warrior Fan as the score ended up Grand Rapids 4 and Brainerd 2. That would mean that Grand Rapids was the winner in this here matchup. <p></p><i></i>
