population
So you are going to tell us that in a state where hockey is a very popular winter sport, there is every bit as good of a chance to get 15 top caliber 8th and 9th grader's in a town of 18,000 as a town of 85,000? This would be quantitative analysis, not opinion and I think you are dead wrong on this one.

This is like beating a dead horse thru the threads.
A. Very Popular Winter Sport-Not really in Rochester. only 35% or our households have kids. 15% of those household aren't from this country.
B. 4 highschools and only one high school coach that shows an interest in Youth Hockey.
And again population has nothing to due with the number of athletes in your community. Of the 12,000 doctors and 30 nurses how many do you think played hockey?

LOST?
I know Bob, he is a great guy, great hockey guy, but how many of the other high school coaches have a kid playing squirt's? Your number game is still way off. You are comparing your population base to the few upper-middle class Metro suburbs. What about the small hockey towns dotted across So. Mn? Those demographic's are changing also; those are the number's comparison's I am talking about. There is a direct correlation. Back to the high school's. Whether or not the HS coaches take part in the youth program or not, 1 a bantam team feeding 4 HS team's is a recipe for disaster. If wins and losses on the 1 a bantam team is your only concern, then you should be in pretty good shape.
