Once again Wayzata's grind it out substance overcomes BSM's run & gun style.

*Well...officially a tie.

Officially a loss for the Catholics. How could they lose on an "immaculate" day? GB

Defensive battle as predicted

Solid goaltending at both ends by Ingemann and McElroy. Marshall and Streeter each had several quality shots but both goalies came up big.

Seems like Cashen Nauve had his body or stick in way of every BSM zone entrance . Huge wingspan. Can also move the puck up

McMorrow tried to fool us old guys :D by wearing uni #41 instead of #19, but we picked up on the switch

Miller had the GWG in OT, appeared to be a weird bounce rebound goal, but didnt have that great a look at it

Nice win for the Trojans.

BSM wants to run and gun with their speed...Wayzata forced them to play their game, ugly neutral zone muckity-muck. BSM better find some more physicality / grit before sections or it will be the same result. BSM outshot them 11-4 in first period and then proceeded to get outshot by Wayzata 18-9 in last two periods.

McElroy will be solid moving forward but a goalie coach brought to my attention that he doesn't track the puck very well (yet) and that's what bit him on the GWG by Wayzata. Off the faceoff it was played off of the end board on his stick side, bounced back above the red line on his left hand side and he didn't track the carom and was late sliding to his glove side and Miller snuck it by him.

Catholic school in name only....they don't even wear uniforms which is a true indicator of just how holy they are :D
