Mack Motzko
Just saw on the web where Mack Motzko, son of the Gopher coach was killed in a car accident last night in Orono. Saw this at KSTP's website.
He was a former St. Cloud Crusader and I guess was playing semi pro. He was not at the wheel. Article SPECULATES alcohol was involved.
Thought he may have played against my Greenway in the 2019 A championship game but he was at Mtka. that year before transferring back.
Prayers to the family at this time.

Prayers for his soul, his family and friends.
It is a tragedy.

May His light shine upon Mack.
Re: Mack Motzko
I can’t imagine the anguish the Motzko family must be experiencing. Having a child perish so young, and in such an unexpected manner, has to be every parent’s worst nightmare. Zichrono livracha (May his memory be a blessing).

Be kind. Rewind.
Re: Mack Motzko
Correct. One phrase I still remember since it is often used at funerals.O-townClown wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 3:34 pmHebrewraidergrad72 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 2:54 pm Curious to know what nationality the language is that is

Re: Mack Motzko
Please, do not allow yourself to get in a vehicle with an inebriated driver. You've got a smart phone, use it. We've got Uber, Lyft, taxi cabs, and we can all call on a friend or family member.
If you cannot deter the inebriated driver, get yourself in a safe space, then call law enforcement so that the rest of us are not in danger. Then get a ride for yourself. It most definitely can happen to you. Remind your friends, remind you kids, keep each other safe. I've spent more years than I care to admit on construction jobs. The safety reminders we get have not changed much over that period of time, but it's too easy to get complacent. We need these reminders on a regular basis.
There is no reason for someone to drive inebriated, and no reason anyone needs to ride with an inebriated driver. I'd even give a White Bear fan a lift if he needed it, so you know I'm serious.
Such a sad burden for the family to bear...
