It will be interesting to see what schools are willing to play Gentry next year. They'll need to completely upgrade the schedule (other than Hermantown would be entertaining) to be ready for AA. But as we know, some coaches already have said they won't play them.

Re: Hockey Hub 21-22 top 26 AA teams
I put a little something together, just for fun. This basically assumes that everyone comes back and there are no transfers, which obviously won't be the case. I bumped Lakeville South down slightly due to the Janne news. Be nice .

Re: Hockey Hub 21-22 top 26 AA teams
Big IF: where would be put Hermantown IF they were going AA?
Re: Hockey Hub 21-22 top 26 AA teams
Watch out for Mayo to make a return after more than 20 years to that list. Not a top 10 or even 15 team but could make the top 25.
Re: Hockey Hub 21-22 top 26 AA teams
Gentry will not be a top 15 AA team next year
Re: Hockey Hub 21-22 top 26 AA teams
The team does lose a lot of talent and a stellar goalie. Their end of season ranking will probably depend the most on: (1) whether any non-2021 grads go the Juniors route; and (2) the schedule.
I think a #3 or #4 seed at Sections is a reasonable expectation and a pretty good achievement, if so achieved.
