thanks for the making this nice list for us people that havent been following this year that closely.
Great game going into the 3rd! 2-1 Wayzata. That was a huge goal for South with 8 seconds left. Pat O'Leary lives for coaching with 2-goal leads in the 3rd period.
Have to respect Wayzata's compete level. They really bring it.
I was really impressed by South's ability to withstand the physical play from Wayzata and stay with their game. There wasn't a lot of panic and their talent took over. Wayzata is usually the team that wears people down as the game goes on, but tonight it was the opposite.
Yes they said if Hermantown had won, their varsity would have been able to play in the semifinals. Also I see Pierce was playing for the Wilderness the next night.
That's sad... Like Hermantown or not, Hermantown Gentry should have been the final..
I'm obviously not the first person to say it, but Hermantown was robbed of a very high chance of a state championship , all for nothing but a stupid protocol
I know there are some changes due to Covid, and I am fine with all that. I am wondering about the all-tournament teams though. That seems like something they could at least put up on a full-screen graphic. They don’t have to bring the kids on the ice. Am I missing something here?
I see the number of TV timeouts has been reduced. Is that just for this year? Or will it be that way moving forward?
I have always figured that if I become a multi-millionaire I would pay for the AA final to be commercial free. Well, except for a nice promotional announcement for myself.
Tonight's AA final is brought to you commercial free, courtesy of East Side Pioneer Guy.
Maybe they'd let me offer some of my sparkling wit & scintillating personality between periods.

Actually, the lack of advertising is troubling. Why broadcast it for free if you can not sell ads?
Education Minnesota was noticeably absent in a year where they advise teachers to not teach.....hmmm
I assumed you were being sarcastic about Education Minnesota. Don't you know that kids in extra curricular activities get better grades and have better attendance and learn leadership skills and after decades of underspending and budget cuts have led to.... I felt like I saw that commercial 942 times during the tourney.
Don't get me started on that Honda commercial.
I assumed the limited commercial breaks (and seemingly quick intermissions?) were to help reduce pushing the 2nd games later?
