I had a heck of a time trying to get the game on you tube before I saw this latest post. Kept going to link after link. Got into Max Preps & they wanted me to register an account which lead me to something called fun mange then Jam zoom.
I went back to your original link & am now watching it on Facebook. I'm old & untechnical.

Final HM 2-1 over Mahtomedi. I thought it was a heck of a game. Mahtomedi had several chances to tie it but they just didn't work out. I also thought the broadcasting team did a real good job & video was crisp & sharp. . And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the rather fetching Allison Scott who also was a very good color commentator.

East 2, Cloquet 1, final. Not a game that will go down in history as a thriller between these two, but the Hounds controlled the pace and got the job done. Two goals for sophomore defenseman Henry Murray, and freshman Dane Callaway looked good and poised in net. The youth movement is most definitely upon us for the Hounds. Cloquet did a great job of shot-blocking and got good goaltending, but that's going to have to be their formula to do much of anything this season.

Kudos to Spud.TV. That was an excellent stream.

Rapids with the 3-0 victory over Moorhead. I thought it was another fairly impressive victory. At times it seemed like GR had a power play when they were 5-on-5. I'm encouraged so far. Duluth Marshall on Tuesday and then Hill-Murray next Saturday. That should give us a good idea of how GR actually stacks-up.

With the streaming of games and televised games on cable, this season may be less distant than I feared. I appreciate being able to see the first two games.

Thus far I have seen 2 games.....either enforce the mask mandate or get rid of it. I do not care, it just has to be equitable. Cripes, BSM wasn’t wearing them during the National Anthem by pictures published by the Star Tribune let alone during play.

Tonight one team was adherent to the rules 100% the other had most maskless. The MSHSL needs to figure this out quick.

End the season now or enforce (or change) the rule.

Reason BSM players didnt have them on during the national anthem is because those players have the masks that attach to the cage. Use your head.

It was a very entertaining game, and fun to see both class champs opening the next season against each other. If Hill is as good as many are predicting, then Mahtomedi has a great team. I thought they had more good scoring chances than Hill did, and I was very impressed with their crisp, accurate passing. Hill's goalie had to come up with several big saves, especially in the 3rd. Very nice video feed, and the broadcasting team did a fantastic job.
