Chaska’s Sam Scheetz may someday be in the running for the fastest player in the state?

Slightly different style, but reminds me of former Chaska forward Rhett Pitlick.

My first thought was Oliver Moore?

That would be a good comparison for a fellow 05.

BlueBlood ,can you offer insight on what these Tonka bantam forwards and Goldy are thinking ,as well as Hupka on the blueline? I assume it’s foregone conclusion Hendy will play varsity if there is a season , but how about the others ?

Deep senior class at the forward position. Went to state as Bantam AA’s finishing 3rd.

Tonka has not had a freshman forward since Bobby Brink in 16-17. None in Coach G’s 3yr tenure.

The staff has taken a Sophomore D all 3 seasons: Miller in 17-18, Kiffin in 18-19 and Baer in 19-20.

There are 3 returning varsity defensemen, with several seniors and juniors looking to fill out the remaining 3 spots along with all of the incoming bantams. Good issue to have.

Varsity will be a Top 8 to 10 team. Their JV team will be very good with all of the bodies they get to choose from. Last 2 seasons that group has very few losses and they know how to win.

Section 2AA is a 3-horse race. My preseason would look like: Ep, PL and Tonka.

Westy,

I know we've been accused of being the same person a few times. Couldn't have done a better job talking up our league the past couple weeks. Much appreciated.

You looked like you were having some fun cheering on the Purple team yesterday. Man, they couldn't get a break. And that North team was thick as thieves. They deserved the title.

Looking forward to seeing some BHS players in the next few weeks.

Team Wisc put on quite a display yesterday afternoon, as they shellacked team North stars 7-0 for the championship of the minor division. Superstar legends Matt Cullen and Jenny Potter were the Coaches on opposing benches ! You couldn’t make it up!
