New topic to get the summer Forum covid saturated brains restarted again.

The 03s have a very strong D corp

But who are the top ten 03 forwards playing high school next year? (excluding SSM and Gentry)

Have received quite a bit of variety of answers, so thought Id throw it out to the forum.

Seems to be a consensus, mostly anyway, on Jackson Blake at #1, but consensus falls off quickly after that.
Would love to see a list of the Top 10 Defensemen

Stats don't necessarily tell as much of the story with D men.

Joe Palodichuk has 1 G and 0 Asst, but would put him right toward the top of 03 Dmen, if not the top that are playing in EL.

Exactly. D-men should not necessarily be judged on points. I think +/- is a better measurement. Of course points do matter, and even more so when looking at the defensive position in "today's" game, but that can not be the only statistic one looks at. A defenseman who does the dirty work in the corners, in front of the net, blocking shots, clearing the zone and moving the puck up the ice, etc. These are stats that are not tracked as much. I know coaches and goalies notice these things.

But this is about forwards, and I am contributing to the hijacking......sorry.

A big factor for me looking at defenseman is the decisions they make in their own end and how they read and react to everything on the ice.
