Looks like you can add Sr D Jon Bell of SCC and Sr D Chase Beacom of Kennedy to the list. Both tendered with Bismarck for next year.

Good chance that both will leave their HS teams, but lots of kids tender with the NAHL and end up back in HS. I'll keep an eye on both of them, but I won't add them until we see how things shake out. §

Boy does Chris McAlpine come across like a class act. Minnesota agents are all great dudes. Toronto guys are cut from a different cloth.
Be kind. Rewind.

OTC . Considering the uncertainties of high school and mshsl season , Do you have a list you want to share of greater than 50% Likely early departures?

Be interesting to see how it plays out. Not sure if I’m interpreting your comment right WestMetro......but are the odds higher that the high school season will happen.....or are the odds higher that the junior hockey season will happen?

I personally think it's a toss-up. The junior season may go by the wayside from a financial perspective if they aren't allowed to generate any gate revenue due to policies prohibiting fans attending at any capacity level. Therefore the owners may choose to take a season off in an effort to mitigate financial losses. The MN high school season could go by the wayside due to the MN government's and department of education's decision making process.

If I had a put $ on one side or the other, I'd say the junior season has higher likelihood of occurring based on recent history.

It is likely some junior teams in certain states will play. Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin are allowing more than Minnesota and Illinois. Then you have local mask rules...exemptions are garbage. Minneapolis has a mask rule but the Twins are given an exemption. Not the townball teams playing the same game...... as stated before I think some owners will close up shop this season.

The Saints and the Northwoods league baseball show even within leagues things will be dependent on local rules.

You can add Calvin Hanson (Kittson Central) - U18 Northstar Academy.

Just realized I posted this over in last year's thread.

Alexandria senior Joe Westland will be leaving the Cardinals and transferring to the Northstar Christian Academy in Alex. He had 14 goals and 17 assists as a junior with the Cardinals.

The Knights also added three Alex players to their first year U16 team.

I'd venture to guess he is leaving. That league doesn't draft HS eligible kids that high unless they get confirmation that he would leave.

Always subject to change for a variety of reasons, but I've heard he's leaving.
