I think you may have one more year of EP. Then a year, maybe 2 drop off, and then another strong few years, before a few down years, before a few up years again.

Of course, this is all dependent on which brothers play college hockey with which EP alumni or which kids' dads need to be closer to the airport in the future... :D

Agree EP #1. Tempted to say Tonka might be right there for number two with PL depending on how many bantams might play up to high school, Blueblood might know more on that. Losing Snuggerud is a huge blow to Chaska, although some good younger kids in pipeline. Fechko was not on the team at HF for playoffs , not sure if he is back or not

2AA pre-season outlook

1) Ep - incoming senior class has been to 3 straight finals: BAA in 2018, Class AA in 2019 & 20. Return 5 defensemen
2) PL - incoming junior class that were Bantams is 2019 will be the catalyst for this team. Return the top goalie in the section
3) Tonka - will likely be a senior laden team who placed 3rd at BAA in 2018. Lots of talent playing JV the past two seasons. Does it translate to next level?
4) HF - return nearly the entire team; only 2 seniors and TF out?
5) Chaska - (assuming Snuggerud is playing at NTDP) graduated a lot of seniors who played 3 years; would need incoming bantams that are split across 3 teams (Chan, Chaska and HF) to provide depth. Is the Breakaway pipeline ending? May be other player movement to USHL.

With Snuggerud going to NTDP, my 2AA pre-season rankings are as follows:

1) EP
2) PL
3) TONKA
4) HF
5) CHASKA
6) SHAKO
7) CHAN
8) NP

Westy, any thoughts on this order?

Looks about right . Just not quite sure how CC association kids will split off . Or how many Tonka bantams kids might play up . Tonka and PL could be close on the 2/3 and Chaska / HF could be close on the 4/5. EP a definite favorite .

Regarding Bantam’s moving directly to varsity at Tonka, only 6 in past three seasons have made the jump with less each subsequent year.

2017-18: 3
2018-19: 2
2019-20: 1

I can say with 95% confidence Drew Stewart will be playing up next year for Tonka
