How long does 1 Final stay in this town?
How about Owatonna bids for 1AA and 1A semi and finals? Place is a dump, and Wed/TH final should consider travel for those students.

Mankato would probably be the best option.
Owatonna doesn’t seat anywhere near enough people.
Rochester was tough before they put the senior citizens center on the place. Honestly, the city needs to realize what a boon for the economy these games are and do a better job. One entrance , one ticket booth with only 2 people selling tickets is bad. The ice is bad because they take no pride in it and it’s a union job. They moved the concessions to worse location and do not staff it. When they expanded it they actually made the locker rooms smaller and didn’t add any toilets.
All that said it is pretty darn good atmosphere, not the morgue Mariucci is. The city just needs to figure out cut little kids swimming and skating lessons for the night.....they do it for figure skating competitions.....and that they need to make it easier to get in and out of the place, both parking (although they want no one driving in Rochester, just bikes and buses) and in the doors.
Take pride in the place and the event.
