6-0 final. Shots 50-10. Hermantown’s transfers are really good. Kilen and Lund each 3 points. Pierce is dominant. No 7A teams can compete with that. Outscored their three opponents 26-1. Outshot them 179-32.

Upset special brewing at the Mariucci?? 0-0 after 1 between the Eagles and Hawks. Shots relatively even at 10-8.

I found a parking spot in an adjacent lot on the far side of TCF Stadium, but all the close lots are unavailable as they serve as reserve parking for the basketball clowns 🤬
Why did the MSHL schedule the game for tonight?

First, you do realize the U doesn't schedule conference basketball games, right? Also, it is the University of Minnesota, their events will always take precedence over a rental event, no matter the size, and it should. Both should be fine at the same time, assuming fans can walk further than a block or two.

Didn’t seem to be a problem for me. Got to the 4th St ramp around 5:30. There was a ton of traffic at that time, but I figured pretty normal for that area at that time. Left around 10:30, as I didn’t want to deal with the traffic from Mariucci and the b-ball game.

Except in 2010 when the Gophers-Badgers hockey game was moved to Target Center for the Friday night due to a figure skating competition.

I agree that U events should take priority. But I also don't think it really takes much effort for the U of M to tell the Big Ten "Hey, can we not schedule a men's basketball game for this particular Wednesday in late February/early March."

At the same time, perhaps the U did ask for this & the B10 said "no dice."
