For Rosemount.......this was their year. As an outstate guy.....I’ll never understand why twin cities kids look around and go “hey......we have a really good group here! To be fair, Mites is the best (and probably only good) time to do MN Made.

I can understand that to an extent. A handful are skating both. The ones that are there full time...are the parents incessantly complaining about the association....which breeds this whole "all about me" mentality to their kids. IMHO. It's just a different world these days.

Depends on the association. I am not familiar with ALL associations and their development but when my kid was younger (senior now) the difference in development between the local association and the Gold Standards on the west side (Edina, Wayzata, Minnetonka, OMG). I would argue that one of the primary reason's my kid is the hockey player they are today is from the 2 years spent at Made years ago. It was the last year of Squirts and 1st year of Peewee (played association and SL1 that season...A LOT of hockey) was critical in development of individual skills and edgework.

I would also argue that several associations (especially Edina) have changed their development over the years because of baby Hornets playing for Made and their parent coaches/assistants seeing the crazy development from spending 30-45 min per practice on skill development. The association might have spent 15 min on those skills over 2 weeks on my kids Peewee A team. I would do all the MN Made stuff again in a heartbeat.
