Whether it be bad systems, poor use of talent, etc...

Who do you think is under-utilizing their talent or miss-using it... half way through... any thoughts?

I'd even throw EP in the mix, they've been fine but I think they're easily the most talented team in the state.

What is it at Chaska, just too much loosey goosey play with limited focus on defensive responsibility?

Wayzata’s system is fairly successful, but seems to do a good job of convincing players from its youth system to enroll elsewhere.

That’s a good one Stang. Nice feeder system to BSM!

They do have a lot of talent, unfortunately there is only one puck.

Being defensively responsible doesn't get a player noticed

Pipes - part of problem in Koster era was he was too regularly a 4th forward up the ice . So the D pairings seemed to have inconsistent breakout passing discipline , and the true forwards seemed to have regular problems with neutral zone spacing and into the O zone . So Hawks didn’t seem to find the best optimization . ImHO

Particularly problematical against the better teams when they shadowed Koster and Pitlick

Witness a change in Andover this year by contrast. Kaiser led the rush too much last year. This year not doing so much of that , leads to better discipline with a new crop of top forwards after heavy graduation loss. Although someone mentioned he reverted to his old ways towards the end of the SCC game .

I may attend Andover vs TG tonight simply to gauge how the Huskies respond to a tough loss. Plus Heffron is a nice senior forward for TG & they have 2 freshman forwards who are pretty good too.

Freshman Moore definitely worth a look .

Heffron could hit 60 points . Rosemount regrets?
