Andv takes lead 2-1 with 2.50 left in 2nd

Sogs 19-9 huskies

Andv adds to lead with 11.30 left in 3rd. Sogs 29-11, it’s been all Andover in 2nd and 3rd

4-1 with 8 remaining

Spuds TV glitch, in that Spuds girls BB has intermittently preempted the hockey game, then lost the signal . Maybe for the best, Spuds were sleepwalking late in this one

Andover looks really good. Can they survive that brutal, torturous, murderous, custom coach bus drive down I-35 though? That’s the question. That’s a lot for any group of young, well conditioned athletes to overcome.

lol...on a Thursday school nite, it’s still a clear advantage for DE (and Cloquet) playing at home, especially with the usual bad weather that occurs end of Feb for fans traveling the 2.5 hours north. But this year, the Black Cloud Tornadoes have such a tangible talent advantage, that they’ll achieve what Anoka, ER & Andover have failed to do the past 13-14 yearsOr maybe they won’t,

And BTW, the talent level of 2020 DE, makes the 2015 DE roster appear to be the varsity team while they’re the JV, it’s that palatably different. But I wouldn’t put any coaching miracle past MR

Trying to understand your analogy of Anoka ties to Andover? I know several families moved to Andover between mites and squirts but they moved from St Francis????

Just flipping them some griefAnoka & Andover used to be one association & HS (Anoka). Early in Andover’s separate existence (2001, 2002, 2003) the Andover folk had a team that played in some offseason youth leagues called the Black Bears. Hence my nickname for the Huskies, the Black Cloud Tornadoes
