Based on what I've seen in the Holiday Classic I believe Edina is going to come away with the win over EP tonight. 4 solid teams but the Hornets seem to have a little more mojo going right now.

Gentle correction. It was 5-2 Grand Rapids although J-105s facebook did post a 5-3 score they corrected it to 5-2.
We went to this game & it was entertaining. Rapids has some great stick handlers & they are on their way back. Could even make more than a little noise in 7AA playoffs.

Eden Prairie wins 1-0 in an excellent game at the 'Mar. Liked the guys on mnhockey.tv Good job by them.

Hermantown destroys Mahtomedi 9-2. OMG! Greenwayraider may be right; H-town may put everyone in running time in the sectionals.

Great hockey game . Hornets did what had to do to neutralize superior number of Eagles offensive threats . Good D, forwards good sticks in neutral zone lanes , and shadowing Steeves and Jm . Louden had great game . I would say they played to their max potential at this stage of season .

Late penalty looked legit to me . Hard not to call it, even at that stage . Great snipe by JM On Pp for the winner. Then the Eagles Committed a stupid icing with five seconds left. Giles calls on freshman Clark for the faceoff , and he almost one times the face off past Roselund for the tie ! Never never should take an icing in that situation

Anyway , expect EP will win the close Edina games this year . With 2-3x the number of pure goal scorers when situation presents itself

I agree really liked watching the Michealis and Humphrey kid up front. Very nice tendy in Koziol he's got some game.

Agreed. I think Elk River will get a home playoff game this year too.
