Fun game to watch. In the first period Roseau was abysmal. Moorhead could have buried them and not look back. But as stated Tuttle played exceptionally well and gave his team a chance to win. Second and third were pretty even. Both teams had chances and took turns controlling the play.

Big game both for seedings and also confidence for a young Roseau team. Can’t wait for the rematch.

The Rams loss to TRF was their first game of the season and they look like a totally different team a few games in than they did that first night. I wouldn't read too much into TRF's win against the Rams!

Ditto. The offense is finally starting to click some after a rough start to the season. They still rely too much on Courneya, but if they can get some secondary contributions I could see Breck sneaking up on a few teams. The schedule has some land mines like Blake, Mahtomedi, and Cathedral, but there are also plenty of winnable games.

The Rams loss to TRF was their first game of the season and they look like a totally different team a few games in than they did that first night. I wouldn't read too much into TRF's win against the Rams!

I think a big part of their evolution as a team is due to their talent still being young. I did the math, and of Roseau's 20 goals, 10 have been scored by sophomores. Of Roseau's 54 points, 28 of those points have come from sophomores. As these players become accustomed to the high school game, they should hopefully improve.

That Roseau win was one of the more bonkers games I have seen in a while. While it was not a huge numerical comeback (2 goal deficit), rarely does a team dominate 20+ minutes of a game as thoroughly as Moorhead did and then see the script completely flip. It was if Roseau suddenly remembered how to play hockey after the second Spud goal, and Moorhead forgot how to defend in transition (three, if not all four Ram goals came in unsettled situations).

It turned out to be a super fun game to watch, and hopefully the rematch (or rematches) will be similarly entertaining.
