Re: YHH Preseason Podcast 2019-2020
Nice Program
HiLites:
O Danny and Girlfriend planning St. Valentines datenite at Eveleth Hippodrome?
O Why/how did Karl and Danny bump into Wade Chiodo in elevator?
0 Karl has now started predicting section upset wins 3 months in advance? A whole new level of wisdom!
Other thoughts/Questions:
O I notice the rankings pretty well closely matched my Sept 24 list, below: No credit to West Metro? Discrimination against senior citizens?

1.EP
2. BSM
3 ANDV
4 RSMT
5 Tonka
6 Blaine
7 MG
8 HM assuming Oberle stays
9-12 Alpha order: Blake/Edina/LVS/WB
O Weird year for determining Final Departure List: Two players in particular led everyone around in circles the last two weeks, with a lot of head fakes and innuendos . Multiple parties involved it seemed. Daggers thrown. Becoming an annual event. Someone ought to create an App for That.
O Why wont Hockey Hub add YHH Hockey for Life Holiday Tourney onto the Hub official schedule?
O Nice section by section analysis.
O Does Jersey Project have to go to the Home Rink for the Photo, to add legitimacy? Why no S/O to Brianna?
Well Done!

Tony dramatically overrating kids who played bantams last year, a tradition as old as time.
Re: YHH Preseason Podcast 2019-2020
I would say Gunderson will have best chance to make a first year varsity impact ,for the Crimson , and a chance to get the USA invite next spring
Was impressed with Burkholder holding his own on blue line against older bigger Elite League kids . He also had some of the biggest body checks of the season
Clark had some great BEL season games but nagging injuries and missed most of Blades . I’m seeing a slow ramp up in Hornet varsity competition production , but will be putting some points on board by Feb And March
Stramel has the size to make a difference but not sure of first year impact based on NatCamps and Elite League action , missed some due to injuries, not sure if he is 100 pc either . But with SSC schedule , he could put up points
Can’t really comment on Snuggered as much , as never seemed to see him as much in person
Also Not to forget , Moore for TG will get some points as freshman, great speed and turn quickness

Comments:
Good pre-season podcast.
1)Thank goodness for Chiodo-to get Karl out his jammies
2) Tony May live in Kaisers’ basement and will secretly help the Huskies make it to state, and he doesn’t want Maple Grove to know he’s secretly had a crush on the Huskies since they were PeeWees.
3) Danny has mellowed and is broadening his horizons.
4) Thanks YHH for being the go to spot for youth hockey in MN

Tony, regarding the current state of 2A: “Since Breck kinda did away with hockey, this section isn’t as interesting.”
Ouch, but unfortunately the truth!
I do disagree with the take on Delano being a top five, or even top 10 team, since they lose four out of their five leading scorers from last year, along with Kruse in net. The Tigers do bring in some nice talent from the Bantam ranks, but they may be another year away from serious contention.
