Looks like Marshall plays Willmar twice, Jan 28 and Feb 4, both times in Willmar? That doesn't make sense.

I think there is only a single game between these teams. 1/28 - Marshall at Willmar.

LDC has a new coach that will fit better to the style of players they have. Should be a fun team to watch. 3rd year starting goalie is a junior. Young team otherwise with most of the talent coming in as sophmores with some solid seniors and juniors. Starting off the season slow with only two games under their belt being played just this weekend and coming away victorious in both. Hutch looks solid too having played 8 games already.

I agree Litch should be a fun team to watch this year and I have been a big fan of Halonen since he took over as a freshman. I'm very curious what it is about the new coach that makes you say that you think he is a better fit. I know that they fell apart down the stretch last year with what I thought was the best team in the section, but I always thought Olson was a very good coach who seemed to get the most out of his players.

So a middling squad of Section 6A beats one of the better teams of Section 3A. That shows the gap in talent pools, I suppose.

How so? Just curious what you meant.

Lourdes is really down this year but they still have name recognition. New Ulm going there and winning 7-0 probably looks a lot better than it really is. That said, I think anytime you can go and beat a team with the pedigree of a Lourdes it has to help your program and put a bounce in your step.

Lourdes isn’t going to go 0-25, later in the year I think that will be a nice win for New Ulm.
