I counted 9. 8 skaters and 1 goalie. If I’m wrong, please correct me. 🙃

I think it's 8 and 2. Haider and Saville.

Saville played for the Magicians last year, but is from Anchorage, Alaska. Played AAA for Colorado Thunderbirds. Kid is a rare south paw. Was fun to watch last year, stole a lot of Magician games.

8+1 is correct. Crazy how far Helleson has dropped (if this list is accurate). If I had to guess I’d say he goes higher than this, but he may be one of the rare cases where going to the NTDP actually hurt his draft stock. The difference in trajectory between he and Jackson Lacombe, who stayed at Shattuck, is interesting. Granted, could just be a case of one improving at a later age than the other.

Jackson grew quite a bit and looked like he got a lot stronger between his Junior and Senior years.

Helleson is #46 on the final central scouting list, so I am inclined to believe this is an outlying opinion. Yes, Helleson’s scoring numbers were down this season, but he is still an excellent skating, big defenseman who has shown he can contribute offensively. I don’t buy him dropping down that far.

I would tend to agree. Guessing he will be 2nd as opposed to 3rd round.

Funny. I’ve been thinking all along that Saville was the goalie from Lakeville South but that’s Dilaura who’s playing in Prince George. Thanks for setting me straight.
