Ullan and Karki were out at USNP but I lost count on if they are still playing.

Ullan is in the USHL with Green Bay
Karki played 3 game with Corpus Christi in the NA and 2 with Muskegon in the USHL

No regarding Ullan - Maksim Zhukov (Vegas pick) went back to Green Bay. Got max playing time.

Karki- you usually don’t leave the USHL for the NAHL due to an injury. Most likely playing time, but didn’t play there much either. Those two have had an unfortunate last 2 years after being removed from the 17s NTDP squad.

DiLaura is active at Prince George having played 36 games over the last two seasons per his EP page. Taylor Gauthier is their main guy having logged 87 games in two seasons. Gauthier should be a top 125 draft pick in the 2019 NHL draft.

While probably a rare event I do know of a goalie who in 2018 told USHL teams he wasn’t interested because he was going to college full time. I suspect there are kids who see engineering, medicine, or other things as their future and not hockey.

Maybe not consistently true to USHL teams, this is 100% true of mn hockey goalies (and players in general) that we don’t account for. I can think of several players off top of my head who chose college degree non-hockey related vs chasing the dream after high school.

Karki announced on his Twitter today that he is going to Everett in the WHL

Hopefully he will get some crease time. Their starter is a 2001 and was the western conf goalie of the year (Dustin Wolf).
