I heard Jim Erickson say last night he will be doing play by play for both classes during the state tournament. I had wondered about that because he is the radio voice of St Cloud St. hockey and the 1st round of the NCHC playoffs is next weekend.

I'm still waiting for that year we get The Doc for play by play. I wouldn't mind seeing Wally Shaver back someday even if it was just for single A.

Jim took over SCSU radio duties last year and worked it into his contract to allow him to do the tourney. He missed the first round of the NCHC playoffs as well last year.

Always liked Wally, he could make a cribbage game sound exciting. Love the Canadian accent even though he was born and raised here I believe.

Wait, Lucia came up empty this weekend and Minnesota's #4 college team will be idle for a while. Wally Shaver, who gained a Canadian accent roaming the streets of Bloomington, should be available.

Sometime in the mid 70's we were heading home from somewhere listening to AL Shaver on the North Stars broadcast. Al let the kid have a go of it for a few minutes. One of my brothers said, "What if there's a goal?" Sure enough there was a goal a little bit later. That was a long time ago but if memory serves young Wally did fine.

I guess Mark is doing all the class A games. Would think he would want to be on the bench for his teams games. He's still an assistant for Orono correct?

They took over last year when the school's contract with KNSI and Leighton Broadcasting expired. Sorta lost a job in that changeover but it all worked out in the end and now I get to call hockey this weekend at the X so its all good, haha.

Really difficult to listen to Parrish, but I guess I should be thankful Ben Clymer isn't doing color.

Really like the shots of Krissy Wendell. Did she have a boob job?

Parrish might have wanted to bow out of calling his teams game. Love the guy, but it is really hard to listen to him "try" to remain unbiased.

Corn Cobb.....not appropriate.

I was wondering if Krissy has dropped "Pohl" from her last name. If memory serves she was going by "Krissy Wendell-Pohl". Apparently now it's just "Krissy Wendell".

Mr. Magoo could use some darker blush for makeup? Looks like he could sub in on the Adams Family.

Wondering the same thing: maybe just the outfit she had on?

Didn't Pear Bear rip Hermantown on Twitter or some form of social media last year? He does kind of wear his emotions on sleeve which is a little refreshing.

Twitter comment link in response to whether he fears Hermantown.

“The only person with Fear is their coach. He's scared he'll actually have to coach instead of easily defeating weaker programs at A level.”[/url]

Yes. They showed him in the stands during the Hermantown-Monticello game.
