Grand Rapids at Greenway, 11/28/17
I'm making the trek to the Snakepit tonight...will be the first time I've seen this rivalry in person. Hopefully I make it out alive.
Lots of unknowns for both teams heading into this one, particularly for the defending champs, so I'm curious to see how this one plays out. Unless I'm missing something, Greenway's last win over Rapids was on 1/30/04. They'll have a fighting chance tonight.

Back in the 80's and 90's when I was young there was nothing better. It was a scary thing to walk into the PIT sporting your orange and black especially if you had to venture on your own. The banter back and fourth was tremendous and as long as the renewed rivalry can take away the student fighting issues you are in for a heck of a treat. This is about the players and fans but really lets leave it up to the kids on the ice to decide this one. I know Rapids is down players for multiple reasons and greenway has some great young talent but I still think it will be a great game. I think Holum will be the difference maker in this one and it can go either way.
Wear your state championship shirts with pride and heads up high as you are the champs and nobody can take that from you especially as you play up with the big schools. I am just excited they are playing and keeping this going and wish them both the best of luck this year.

Oh, great. I'm in Duluth till 5, so I'll probably wind up with a parking spot in Pengilly. That lot isn't exactly the largest one on earth...ndirishfighting wrote:Karl I hope your there by now cause according to my brother parking lot is already full
At least I have a little pass I can wave around to get myself in (hopefully) if they sell out. Finding a place to stand or sit may be another story.
