Gonna be tough for Elks to up and beat East....2 big factors here: 1) East trending up and appearing to be playing a lot better...2) Perbix 4 game suspension for Elks gonna hurt their offensive production....

East is trending up. Elks are trending down. Hounds win.

After a great run, elks are "wounded" right now. Hounds should win this one, but anything is possible if Meyers has a hot night

East up 1-0 after 2. Shots 22-10 Hounds. Altmann on the East goal, which came off a rush right as an ER PP expired.

Duluth East 5, Elk River 2, Final (EN). Shots 31-23 DE.

ER missed Zerban and Perbix, obviously, so a playoff rematch could look a bit different. Still, East was in control for most of this one. The nice showings continue...just have to keep building.

Rapids could be the one seed for the first time since I was in 1st grade.

Yup. Hasn't happened since the first year of the two-class era.

They will still get beat by a 4 goal margin. Fly on down and watch it go down at amzoil!

Haha. To who? Cloquet? I'm planning on making the trip. Will be nice to have Caribou Coffee again. :D
