There are teams that could be better teams than some listed in the top 5 but we are far enough into the season that discounting their efforts and results is not fair so they are the top 5.
In tight consideration: Wayzata, Edina, Brainerd, GR, ER, Holy Family, Prior Lake and LVN.
Would like to find a way to put Farmington in there but their two losses were pretty bad.
Tonka needs to run the table between now and New Years and they will be top 5. The win over STA is not that impressive as it seemed at the time.
Bloomington Jefferson is an interesting team. Played a tough schedule so far and if they can do some damage in their next 3 games before the holidays they deserved to be recognized.
Trying to figure out their identity: DE and STA. Talented players but have not found their game yet.
Benilde and Blaine on Tuesday will be the second game in a row for Benilde to be playing a 1v2 game. Not sure when the last time that happened.
