Wayzata Burnsville Tie

Post by WestMetro »

Appreciate feedback from those who saw this game.

1 zimmer had 2 goals. injuries behind him?

2 did luke paterson play. healthy?

3. schilling did not play. normal rotation?

4. wayzata faced twice as many shots, apparently ahcan and Bvl Dmen were
pretty effective?

5. Bvl scoring spread around as usual.

Wayzata went up 2 to 0 and then Burnsville came back and played a strong 2nd period to tie it up 2 to 2.

Zimmer - he looked fine and skated well. My two cents, I would move Zimmer to a line with Duma (w) and Senden (c). Other thought would be to move Max to center and put him with two play making wings, Digmann and Duma or Dingmann and Fetrow.

Paterson - played wing with Duma and Senden yesterday.

Schilling - not sure why he didn't play yesterday. Pure speculation, with STA, Moorhead, and Lakeville North on the schedule over the next two weeks, I would expect him to be in the nets.

Play - Wayzata looked sluggish and hadn't played a game for about 1 1/2 weeks.

Wayzata has the ability to play at a high level for periods of the game. It seems like they take the foot of the gas pedal at times and fall asleep letting their opponents back in the game. Silly penalties seem to be a common theme. They played the 1st period six minutes in a row short handed.

Defenseman need to avoid turning over the puck in their own zone.

Plenty of time to improve. 6-1-2 so far.

Off to a great start and look forward to watching them play over the next few weeks.

Go Trojans and Best of Luck.

STA should be a good game for Wayzata.
