Tonka vs Edina (1/17/13)
This is a big game between rivals to open up lake conference play. Last years game at Braemar between these two was one of the best i saw all year with tonka winning in OT.

Anyone know whether Malmquist, Jordahl, Benjamin, and Fidler will be back in the line up?

Another tight game at Braemar and another win for Minnetonka.
Tonka's defense saved them in this game. They also did something that they have failed to do many times throughout the season--dominate the beginning of each period. Edina was trying to play catch up all game after an early 2-0 deficit.
I'm interested to see how Tonka stacks up against Wayzata next Thursday...gotta get through Hopkins first.
Lake Conference play never fails to excite.

gloves off
I think Minnesota Hockey has issued a similar advisory in recent days:

Re: gloves off
Well, that makes more sense than the Edina players just being totally low rent and keeping their gloves on when the Skippers players removed theirs.Sartellcelly wrote:I think Minnesota Hockey has issued a similar advisory in recent days:

I sure hope that was indeed the reason.
Buy ya a soda after the game!
