Hard to tell if this subject really belongs in the high school section. But, since Jeff Parker was a former top high school player for White Bear Mariner in the 80's, (graduated in 1983, the last year of two high schools in White Bear Lake) here is a link about him and the terrible disease he has been battling for almost three years now.

The link is also about a benefit hockey game that will be held in February for Parker.
