CEC Hockey

Post by DHMN »

I'm nowhere near the 'professional' photographer, and don't exactly have the equipment yet to even think of myself as "semi" but just a couple from my website (I don't sell the photos, they're just for fun and sharing.) Hopefully by next season I'll have camera equipment capable of the really nice pictures in the dimly lit world of high school hockey.

So did Duluth Marshall (in the game mentioned about the girl in the stands geting hit in the face by a puck)

You are right - hockey pics are challenging - poor lighting in the arenas and the fast action are not a good combination for sure - decent pics though - thanks for sharing.

When I get my 50D and ramp the ISO to 3200.. other than dealing with more 'noise' it'll be easier to 'stop' the action better.

CEC Girls vs Proctor/Hermantown/Marshall

The game was so out of hand early I started playing around with camera settings, some are rather dark because of this.
