Yikes. Blake lost Wethington and Daniel. Now, they have a lot returning, but to claim those 2 "aren't much" is curious.

Considering up-to-date player movement, the top 5 teams this winter will likely be Andover, Blake, Edina, Forest Lake and Minnetonka. After that? I have no idea.

Andover is a clear #1 until proven otherwise. Forest Lake returns basically their whole team. It wasn’t enough for Andover last year, but this year is their chance. Frankly, those two may make the west metro battles a sideshow. Blake will be very good, with three of the best senior forwards in Minnesota. Lots of other strong players, but frankly success will require their three freshman forwards to make major contributions. Are they ready? Edina lost a ton of scoring, but returns some big guns, and limitless depth, not to mention a potential game changer in goal. Tonka’s D will be as good as anyone’s - but scoring depth may be a challenge. But they could beat anyone on this list in a 2-1 game. Those 5 should hang around the top all year, but I expect that order to shuffle during the season.
