Jr. Gold "A" & "B" outstate playdown

Post by fallontheball »

Hoping that somebody on the forum may be of help to me...I'm trying to find the brackets/playdown info for the out-state Jr. Gold "A" & "B" teams (not sure, however, if there are even any Jr. Gold "B" teams from out state).

Any info or suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks MP....does this mean -- in all likelihood -- that both Grand Rapids and Moorhead will be competing in the Jr. Gold "A" state tournament again in a few months?

I have a feeling that's probably the case....

It looks like the play downs on the MHL site result in 7 teams going to state. Who fills the 8th slot?

Looking at the playdown brackets for JGA, the #1 seed and #14 seed play in game #2, and the loser goes to state as M1, while the winner has to win 2 more games to get there. Is that correct? What am I missing here?

Really?! Commom sense tells you that the winner of that game goes to state. Otherwise the #1 seed would lay down and lose on purpose!

Duly noted. Had I taken the time to apply some logic, I probably would have figured it out. Maybe next time. :D

Looks to be a good playdown.
