Justin Kloos of Lakeville South committed to the University of Minnesota today. He received the offer last week. Congrats to Kloos.

If you enjoyed watching Cepis, you will like this kid.

Great for the kid! Cepis really wasn't much to watch, hope he is better.

All that I meant was that Cepis was one of the FEW bright spots on a very underacheiving squad and was fun to watch, Kloos seems to overacheive and is fun to watch, pretty simple.

Hopefully back for his senior year at Lakeville South. Then a year in Waterloo?

Not sure what you were watching. Cepis was a fan favorite of most Gopher fans.

Pretty good Q & A with him in Sunday's strib, sounds like he's leaning pretty heavily to coming back to South next year :D

I guess because he was a fan favorite, that meant he was a good player? I guess my expectations for Gopher hockey are a little higher than yours.

Mulefarm, next time you are on here, click over to the Gopher web page and check stats. Let us know where Mr. Cepis stood on the the team this year.

Jack, are you kidding me. 29 pts .
36th overall in all games and 25th overall in WCHA games. You may think that is a great year, but probably one of the lowest point totals ever for the gopher scoring leader. Crouwd favorite and good player are two different things, Boogard was a crowd favorite, but I won't consider him a top player.

Congratulations to Justin!!! His whole career (to date) he has always been "to small" to play the next level, whether it was Pee Wee's, Bantam's, and Highschool. You can't teach heart and work ethic......I fully understand that D1 hockey is a huge jump from High School but I very much believe Justin will have a very positive effect on the Gophers when he finally gets there!!!!!
