Not with Cloquet's lost last night, no. East will be #1 and CEC #4 or #5. Personally I would still keep them at 4. I watched some of the game last night on MSBN; CEC has some injury issues and was playing with a very thin lineup. The first line was gassed by the end of the game.mj79 wrote:I didn't even see flake beat cec. Interesting.
Is there any possible scenario to get east and cec in the final
Seeding should be out tonight...
What is the rush? The season isn't even over yet.karl(east) wrote:Not with Cloquet's lost last night, no. East will be #1 and CEC #4 or #5. Personally I would still keep them at 4. Remaining games wouldn't have much of a impact in the seeding.BodyShots wrote:What is the rush? The season isn't even over yet.karl(east) wrote:Not with Cloquet's lost last night, no. I'm also surprised they went with Cloquet as the 3-seed, especially with the loss last night. I guess they went by overall record?
Both top seeds will probably get semifinal opponents who they beat by 1 goal, so it should be a great Semifinal Saturday.
Too bad about the seeding, but it's playoff time...no excuses.
Probably the way it should be. Not a alot of games within section, that makes it hard. Both ER and FL have losing records and not any real signature wins. FL win last night makes it a bit more interesting, but since they split, not as significant as it seems. CEC schedule was easier and ER and FL might have had the same record. It's hard with a lot of conference games, but more section games would really help in the seating.

East and Cloquet don't play in the semis, so they could meet in the finals.mj79 wrote:So in the brackets 1/4 are in the upper and 2/3 in the lower? Which could possibly make a east cec final??
Semis should be East vs Elk River, Cloquet vs Rapids if the higher seeded teams win their quarterfinal matchups.
