I totally agree. I am an alumni of SSP as well and everytime I see ssphockfan on a post I cringe. There is no need for this because SSP has always been a class act and don't need this against the town or the hockey team. I currently coach in another town but will always have ties to my hometown and to see this kind of foolery outrages me. Like the previous posts said don't let an outcast ruin your perspective of a great town and hockey program. Good luck to all State Tournament participants. Should be one of the best tourneys in years. <p></p><i></i>

being a former no. st.paul player nothing hes going to say will change the respect i have for your school and town. My dad made his living in the yards their and would role in his grave if ssp lost its blue collar respect from the hockey world. We all know the attention this gay is seeking. Im a youth coach here in wadena and know all our fans well and believe me we are thrilled to get a chance to play ssp. hope its a good game and hopefully a new tradition will begin between our teams. I've grown up and played in west st. paul my whole life and always thought south st. paul were class acts even though we were hated rivals. After the game we were always friends and even this year they end our high school season with class. the south st. paul boys are great guys and hope they do well in the tournament. <p></p><i></i>

Any town that has a place like the Croatian Hall as its unofficial City Hall is a great hockey town - a candidate for best in Minnesota. I'm sure the locals would love to talk hockey with Greater Minnesota visitors, and the out-staters would feel like they were at the local Legion.<br><br>Regarding ssp fan... when - if - you make it to 40, maybe you'll appreciate the difference between a frustrated p*sser and moaner and someone who steals a few hours each Feb/Mar to discuss a common simple pleasure with others who share their interest. <p></p><i></i>
