Have you seen DE?

2Harborshawk "DE has no place in the top 10 this year its sad but the dynasty is over" put the pipe away it's clouding your vision. I thought they may have been the best in the Moorhead Scrimmages that I saw. They looked way better than Centennial who if you look back a bit have been ranked as high as four by some of the citidiots on here. Besides watching them I heard they absolutely crushed a few teams down there. Brainard looked OK but nothing like that. Right now I'm not buying the GR as #1 in 7AA you have to knock off the champ before you can sit on the throne.

I agree with beating the champ to be #1. I'm saying I feel good about their chances. I think Cloquet and Elk River will be the best in 7AA. Rapids has potential, just have to wait and see if GR can join that group. Same thing with East. Needless to say I'm very excited about this season. Don't be shocked to see Grand Rapids, CEC, Elk River and Duluth East all ranked in the top 15 when the semi-finals roll around. How sweet would that be?

EREmpire, SETTLE DOWN!!!! He obviously made a mistake and wanted to reply in another thread. Geez, it's easy to make a wrong mouse click once in a while.

What's your deal, you a little nervous about being swept by East, Rapids, and CEC, or losing to Cambridge this year?

4 Horse Race in 7AA

Elk River is the team in 2005-2006 to beat. Followed by Cloquet than maybe East and Brainerd. After that it is a battle of the rest for the 5th spot, take your pick. I am not permitted to say too much about, about, about AHA, about East...so the best I have to say is good luck to all the teams and all that happy stuff. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">

I don't believe I put DE #1 anywhere in 7AA they were the best I saw between: EGF (missing a bunch for a violation, tough to tell but what was there were HACKS!), Sauk Rapids (Some quickness, should compete in 4A), Eastview (Middle of the Road), Centennial (Missing 5 players I was told so again tough to judge), DE (already commented), Blaine (Small, Quick & Feisty), Brainerd (looked fine but didn't look as polished as DE could have been opponent) and Warroad (not a lot of scoring punch and glaring D problems). 'Bout as honest as it gets.

I'll believe that the run for the Greyhounds is over when they stop coming down for state tournaments. Until that time . . .
