Itech

Post by Johnnie15 »

I got an Itech from my team, but do not have any real good way to keep it from fogging up. I went without a mask all summer so the transition back to a cage was tough. I figured an Itech would be easier and I love it, except for the fog factor. So does anyone have any good tricks or advice(other than the obvious ditch it completely). Thanks.

Shampoo's the way to go. No water. A drop goes a long way.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... eeAGENT at: 11/13/05 7:10 pm

Can you use any kind of shampoo or is there a certain type that you should use?

also dish soap works very well, just do the same as the shampoo. both work, don't know which one is better though.

Alright, thanks, I will experiment with the dish soap and the shampoo in the next couple of days.

Scuba shop

try going to a scuba shop and buy a product that they have so your scuba mask does not fog up, ive found that it works better then shampoo and dish soap.

That is a really good idea to use the scuba stuff. It is really effective.

After much, well just a little, experimentation I found that dish soap worked the best. I did not try the scuba stuff as it is relatively hard to find a scuba shop around me, esepcially because I do not know the area. Thanks everyone though for offering their input.
