Hockey Dow Jones report

Post by 3for3 »

following an incredible bull market in 04-05, that saw many high draft picks and players going straight to D1 from high school and possibly one of the best Championship games ever between Warroad and Totino Grace combined with upset special Holy Angels over Moorhead, 05-06 forcast is as follows;

BLUE HORSHOE FORCAST

Single A hockey has heavy trading as many people are selling. Stock dips down 2 points (tough to beat last years state tourney) Plus, all top ten teams come from only 4 different sections 5,3,7,8

Double A hockey stays steady down only 1/8 - Wide open field should create interest all season long. Private vs. Public heats up a bit as Hill, CDH and Holy Angels all provide strong contests. Benilde may create a slight interest.

Using Pagestat or Mitch's as stock numbers

Must have buys: White Bear Lake, Hill-Murray, Cretin Derham, St. Louis Park, Theif River Falls (these are the teams with the most upside, heaviest trading volume should be from somewhat unknowns CDH, SLP andTRF)

recommended for all portfolios: Blake, Edina, Roseau, Duluth Marshall (safe upside tick)

Sell: Tartan, Breck, Warroad, Moorhead, Totino Grace - all Blue Chip stocks last year, 05-06 brings changes, (1st quarter production will be down, these may be buys come Christmas time. For now SELL!!!)

Penny Stock buy: Monticello, they won't have to get their feelings so hurt now that they switch conferences.
look for them to not lose by double digits all season.

Conference Buy: North Suburban, St. Louis Park, Benilde St. Margarets will now face off with Totino Grace. Heavy volume already traded!

Blake, St. Thomas Academy, Red Wing, Breck, St. Louis Park and Richfield will be the teamas to keep your eye on this season.
