I thought we all agreed to not discuss this topic anymore? or not....Frankly, EastHockeyPuck's reply was too defensive and in fact brought the dreaded recruit debate back to life in this thread. No need really, was there? It is what it is...some kids transfer on their own and others transfer with a little help...in every school district.

JLS- They are solid for 2 lines, beyond that I'm not sure. The top 2 lines should be pretty even as far as quality goes, neither one sticking out more than the other. Let me get this straight. East & CEC are solid for two lines and evenly matched? So in this case it woud kind of depend on goalies right? Well, I think we know who the better one is between Leis and Ellingson.. No offense to Leis, he's a good goalie. and I don't recall you ever saying that ER could compete for the title. I only remember you saying they are going to state for sure?

hockeywild, Yep, Leis is a good goalie WITH good size. Ellingson has more varsity experience and has been given more opportunity outside of the high school experience. Give Ben some decent varsity time this year and I think more will be talking about him instead of just Reid. Of course, I believe there are a few goalies out there who are being left out of the talk, but they aren't in the AA division, so I shouldn't be surprised. Keep your eyes and ears open on some of the smaller school's netminders. Some very good talent.....and no, I am not going to name names ...let tryouts take their course.

So, when a person can't argue on the merits, they start changing the other person's name in an attempt to insult? Neat. elmnhockeyscout, you're fairly new here. Empire has had some good takes. He supports his team and he's got a pretty good team to support there (hopefully not too good..heh heh). He might be a little "on the edge" at times, but he's pretty much followed the Board rules. Well, if i recall Empire strikes back referred to me as elementary hockey scout, so you have nothing to support that, and with his name, i just named him queen because i didn't think he was worth being called empire, and with strikes back, i'm still waiting... i can reply on whatever team i please "east hockey", and if you don't like my replies, which are within the forum rules, you shouldn't come on here. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes">

Not that it matters to all of you, but I think it helped me when I was growing up, my grandmother gave me a pearl of wisdom. And, since there are many young people reading this board - it might be appropriate. That being, remember that only a fool will argue with a fool. That is not taking sides in any of the arguments (sometimes confused with a spirited discussion) on this board. But come on folks, lets set some decent examples!

mnhockey39, Christian Fogerty will be a senior this year. I'm not aware of anyone named Carpenture on the team, but this years rosters won't be out for another month. So what do people think about Cambridge this year? Can anyone give me the DL? I know that most teams consider them as a bye when playing them in the first round and they dont have a whole lot of hockey tradition.
