Lets expand onthis. Who is looking good. I will start.
My boys from AHA will be good, very good. I have seen them a few times this fall at the rink and they looked like they were ready to go. People will see their line-up, which will be heavily upper classmen, but do not look past their JV. I saw a lot of young talent. Their core consists of two excellant goalies in Jarod Havron and Keaton Smith. Forwards are solid in Taylor Matson, Ky Moje, Paul Hawthorne, Ryan Hurley, new-comer Danny Matson and of course Jay Barribol. On D they still have Jake Gulickson, Bryan Brutlag, Nate Hanson and Cameron Cooper. All this and a coach in Trebill and the best bus driver make for a fun season.
I apologize for not mentioning all the rest like Jak Knellman and Brooks Dezellar and Lathan Logan.... so many I am having trouble.
Eveyone else please tell us about your team.

GO STARS

________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... >Zamman at: 11/14/05 6:36 am

Let's just have a fun thread where people can talk about their teams and hopes for the season.

For Grand Rapids, gotta be pumped to have Patrick White, one of the top forwards in the country and some very good defensemen. There's some optimism with some of the young kids from the Bantam A State team. Sparren, Roy, and Kosak are some names I've heard from people in GR that have a chance to crack the lineup. I hear those kids are fast. I like the fact GR opens with 3 home games, two against 7AA opponents. Forest Lake is back on the schedule which gives GR a chance right off the bat to with a win get people thinking in terms of them being a 1-4 seed. With a win over CEC then you give your self a chance early on to keep that hope of possibly a 1 or 2 seed and gain some confidence. Should be a fun year and I hope to be back in Minny at the DECC for 7AA Semi-Final Saturday (Feb. 25).

GR19,
Bantam A team did not go to state last season you need to do some research before making statements like that. Other than that lets hope for a great season.

Sorry, I forgot, they barely missed, however they were ranked #15 in LPH. My bad.

I do not know much about who is new this year, but based off of who they still have they should be a fun team too watch. They lost five seniors, two fourthliners, two defensemen, and a second liner I believe. Their First line is still intact of Matson, Barriball, and Hurley. That is a huge help to any team. They should still be one of, if not the quickest teams in the state. Trebil always seems to emphasize his teams strengths so look for a quick transition game out of them like last year. They should be a fun team to watch. Defense shouldn't be a problem even with the lost of Hummel and Krempa. Cooper has matured a lot since last year and played in some national tournament in the Czech I believe. Of course they have Jansport, I mean Keaton, returning who "carried the team on his back" against Tartan... Havron is probably the most underrated kid on the team though. I just hope to be able to catch a couple of their games this season.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... hnnie15 at: 11/14/05 9:30 pm
