Warroad Coach writes book about public education
There was an article in the Grand Forks Herald yesterday about Warroad's Hockey coach Dennis Fermoyle. He just recently wrote a book defending public education. Seems like it would be an interesting book, if you care about public education. it Is an interesting book and the tone is hilarious (somewhat sarcastic). He uses a lot of personal experiences with students with name changes.

Right on
Just finished reading Denny's book. I believe he "hits the nail right on the head". Takes the premise that public education is not a right, but a privilege. Because it is viewed as a right today; the school is unable to do what it deems necessary to promote a better learning atmosphere for the majority. We as a country are defending the rights of the few (the bad apples) versus the rights of the many. Spock had it right when he said to Bones or was it Jim "The needs of the many; outweigh the needs of the few or the one." It's only logical...must be why our country can't come to that conclusion.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=" >D">

Re: Right on
After having him teach me my sophomore year it sounds exactly like the way he is in real life. Direct and too the point in a sort of satirical way. In a way he reminds me of the Common Man on KFAN, except more serious with this endeavour
