just wait for next year when we get Zach Wheey from Russia. Hes not a recruit, hes got family that lives here and his parents moved here from russia to work at arctic and digi key. Hes an outstanding player from what i hear, come to any TRF games next year to watch him. i bet that he will be carrying the team to state. <p></p><i></i>

so your saying that its not recruiting if a parent moves to town to work? the kid happens to play hockey and his parents are working at the two biggest companies in trf. And no one got them a job there? hmm.... thats ok in trf.... but in warroad, if a parent moves in to teach at a school that is making drastic cuts and didnt get handed a job at warroad's biggest employer, that makes him a recruit? would TJ have gotten the same exposure in washington? i dont think so. the whole oshie following at the games, it seems like his whole family shows up to support him - the same people he moved here to see, follow in the footsteps of maybe a grandpa or great uncle - max oshie, another great for warroad. hmm...i like the quote before....dont throw rocks if you live in a glass house... please explain how it is only a "move-in" in other towns, but a recruit in warroad <p></p><i></i>

hockeymind.. I believe someone already brought the fact that Mr. Oshie is hired through Indian Ed. ,which is separate from the general fund for educating students. This means that the funding comes from another some place other than general ed dollars. Warroad has a fair amount of Indian students and has a Indian Ed dept. Someone out there ,who has a better understanding of this, can correct me if I am wrong. <p></p><i></i>
